Derotator and scoliosis corrector „DELFIN” can be used for non-surgical, effective treatment of scoliosis (see X-ray pictures) with the use of the exercising patient's own strength - the „PRESSIO” method.

Compact size (ca 0.6 m2) and simple operation allow for using the device in any conditions; recommended especially for home use (required cooperation with a physiotherapeutist at least once in three months).

The device is equipped with special heads operating in three curves planes: redressive, anti-arch and derotation.


Exercise:

Having stabilised shoulder and pelvic girdles of the patient in the device, at supported kneeling (Klapp's position), heads are placed over the curve arches' peaks. Patient performs the „cat's back” exercise.
Description of device: During exercise, the spine correcting heads become active. By pressing the heads, the frontal plane curve is corrected. The movable parts of heads correct the spine in transverse and peroneal planes. By the above mentioned activities, correction is made simultaneously in three curvature planes.


Exercises should be practised 3 times per day, in approximately 20-40 cycles, 6-10 seconds each, depending on a child's strength. Single exercise period - approximately 10 minutes.
