Exercise with "DELFIN" device involves a patent assuming the supported kneeling position.
In this position, shoulder girdle is stabilised with shoulder heads and hips with pelvic heads. Having stabilised the patent, the working edge of the head is adjusted to tops of the spine curve arches, between spinous processes and transverse processes of vertebrae.
The patent assumes the so called "cat's back" position, pushing against the heads' working edge for approximately 10 seconds, then assumes the initial position and takes a deep breath.
During the exercise, the corrective heads operate. With the stress on the heads, the frontal curve is corrected. The movable parts of heads correct transverse and peroneal planes. Thanks to the above described method of operation, simultaneous action in three curve planes is possible during one exercise. The exercise called "cat's back" may be repeated up to 50 times. Simple construction and easy operation make the device useful for physiotherapy centres, rehabilitation clinics, specialist units and home use.
